I got this one (iView) a week ago, even though there were no reviews available yet anywhere.Close Captioning worked for a day and now doesn't work regardless of setting (on or off). The manual is incorrect (DVDs insert facing backwards), and the FFW and REW buttons seem to work haphazardly. The DVD player does NOT come on automatically (as stated in the manual), the DVD can't even be inserted unless forced, the "DVD" setting needs to be selected before a DVD can be played, very inconvenient. The sound is acceptable, the picture is good once you play around with the individual manual settings, the pre-programmed selection is not so great. The "Media" selection is interesting, it can display pictures in Slide Show format among other things. I haven't explored the other functions yet, I hope they work. I tried calling... There are simply no good quality choices in this size/combo category. I bought this set with no reviews to be found. I even went to their brand/factory site, which is a Chinese, generic, "we make anything cheap" type manufacturer. I chose it because the other TV's this size had poor - bad reviews.
