Did my online homework and redid the TV color settings and disabled the powersave feature as some reviewers suggested...speakers are very small and best sound is gained from even a modestly priced set of external speakers. (The LED panel is so thin, you can understand why most all LED flat screen TV's have weak sounding internal speakers)....you can read specifics on others reviews. Also bought a LG blue-ray player that connects to the internet (by internet cable for positive signal)to access loads of internet streaming content, which is free. Thus, for the cheap price of a LG internet capable player, I now have features of a higher priced smart TV that I will use. Happy as a clam watching all this stuff & playing blue-ray DVDs for about 90 days, and then one day, my new LG TV won't turn on...with or without the remote control. After sending a repairman out, many phone calls, and two new parts sent that did not fix the problem--I still have no TV!! It has now been a month. Customer service is telling me that all parts have to be replaced and TV will not be replaced until Tech department determines it is not fixable! Meanwhile I have to wait for weeks for LG to mail parts to repairman and if that does not work have to wait on another part to be mailed. I told customer service depending on the number of parts this could take months!!! Soooo frustrated!!! I will NEVER buy another LG product--customer sevice is the worse I have ever seen!!! |
