It has that same sound quality all the small TVs have, its more than bearable. Picture is pretty good, it isn't spectacular the price was right, and you get what you pay for. Totally fine TV for a smaller bedroom. Has all the hookups you could need. Maybe it has to do with mine being on a wall-mounted holder so that the speakers are elevated and away from the wall? Anyway, it's perfect to replace the dead machine from the bedroom.
